The two friends were walking across the square talking about the class on CMS web design Singapore. They agreed the nerds were the best students in the class. One of the college girls said she loved learning this stuff. Her friend said she was having a little trouble keeping up with the pace.
Now they were just coming from a class in World Religions. The cultural differences were really captivating and both girls wanted to travel to Singapore sometime after they graduated and paid off their student loans. It was still a far-off dream and they were not sure they could afford it for years.
Not like the business class they all disliked with fervor. Yes, imagine a six page report on housing trends in the last decade keeping you up all night. They bemoaned the fact that the Professor had talked for a half hour about how hard it will be to apply for a housing loan in the future. They were unconcerned about credit ratings at this time in their lives.
As they opened the door to the student union where the lunch buffet was, they saw Tara walking towards them. Everyone said hi and talked about what to eat for lunch. Two were going to the salad bar and one was getting a slice of pizza and a soda. It was not gourmet food by any means, but it is pretty cheap.
They started talking about Lady Gaga and her latest make-up with the black stars around her eyes. They both had purchased her song, Born That Way. One of the girls had the first few bars on her cell phone as a ringer. Rae asked if they had seen how she fell at the concert the night before.
They all noticed a guy from their math class walking their way. They smiled and said hello as he got closer. He was well-dressed and had beach blond hair. Any one of them would not turn down a date with him.
After he went off to his next class, they all talked about how they would like to go out with him. There is a new movie out, maybe we should ask him to go with us. It could be a group date, they agreed.
Since they both were going home for the upcoming break, they started talking about their parents. One girl remarked that her Dad was a problem while she was at home. It seemed that he was a psychiatrist and could figure out every wrong move she made. Her friend laughed and said she was glad hers was a dentist and all he watched was how much candy she consumed.
